Reaffirming its commitment to uphold world-class standards amid the challenges brought about by the pandemic, W Landmark Inc. (WLI), the holding company for W Group’s real estate corporation, has recently been awarded the ISO 9001:2015 Certification for its exemplary implementation of their quality management system and operations across its properties. WLI owns and operates W Fifth Avenue, W CityCenter, Citi Plaza, W Highstreet, W Global Center, and W Tower.
WLI, along with its five owned buildings, has passed the audit conducted by the TUV Nord Philippines Inc. for exhibiting outstanding management operations deemed at par with global standards. TÜV Nord Group, a member of the German TÜV Nord Group, is one of the largest technical service providers in the world that focuses on delivering management certifications, public training, and seminars across the globe. During the virtual audit, TUV Nord commended the company’s management practices, consistent compliance with the international standards of the Quality Management System, and quick response and action on its documentation processes.
The audit evaluated WLI’s provisions on their leasing services and building management, including all operational and support services functions. At the height of the pandemic, the WLI management institutionalized facial recognition systems for its buildings to lessen human contact among employees and guests. They also added metal detector scanners that include a temperature scanner at the buildings’ entrance as well as regularly sanitizing and disinfecting the buildings’ common areas with the use of UV lighting.
“This milestone reaffirms our commitment to our customers, partners, and stakeholders in championing sustainability and efficient performance across all fronts in our daily operations,” said W Group Inc. Chief Executive Officer Francis Augustus Wee. “This award signifies a new beginning for W Landmark to continuously improve and ensure that we are able to adapt amid the rapid changes in our community. We hope to inspire our employees to continue to do better and deliver quality property management services and leasing operations during these trying times.”
WLI’s ISO certification highlighted its effectiveness in helping achieve its specified organizational objectives as well as meet all the customer demands and relevant requirements of legal and regulatory bodies, including--among others--the extension of payment terms of WLI’s tenants in accordance with the RA 11469: Bayanihan to Heal as One Act and RA 11494: Bayanihan to Recover as One Act last year.
