Pulilan 4PH project to deliver over 1,000 homes

More than 1,000 families in Pulilan are a step closer to securing decent and affordable homes as the Social Housing Finance Corporation (SHFC) and the local government formally launched the MOM’s Ville housing project under the national 4PH Program on May 16.

The launch event, held at the Bukid Government Center in Barangay Peñabatan, was led by SHFC President and CEO Federico Laxa and Pulilan Mayor Maria Rosario Ochoa-Montejo. MOM’s Ville marks the first major rollout of the Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program in the municipality, aligning with the Marcos administration’s commitment to address the country’s housing backlog.

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) Secretary Jose Rizalino Acuzar previously spearheaded the project’s groundbreaking, signaling strong national government backing for the initiative.

In his speech, Laxa emphasized the urgency of homeownership and reaffirmed SHFC’s mission to accelerate delivery. “This is your opportunity to finally own a home,” he told future residents. “We’re committed to fast-tracking construction to make your dreams a reality.”

The MOM’s Ville development will feature eight mid-rise, five-story buildings that will house more than 1,000 families. In addition to residential units, the project will include commercial spaces and “Kadiwa Centers” designed to create livelihood opportunities and provide access to essential goods and services.

Mayor Ochoa-Montejo described the project as a long-awaited milestone. “We have worked toward this vision for years,” she said. “Today, we celebrate the first real step toward giving every Pulileño family a safe, decent place to call home.”

DHSUD Assistant Regional Director Atty. Naiza Mae De Los Santos and several SHFC officials joined the site inspection following the launch, closely monitoring construction progress and ensuring the project stays on track.

MOM’s Ville is being developed by AVECS Corporation and forms part of SHFC’s expanding 4PH portfolio, which now includes more than 80 projects nationwide. Among them are People’s Ville in Davao City, Crystal Peak Estates in Pampanga, Valley View Township in Misamis Oriental, and San Miguel de Manila Residences in the capital.

As construction progresses, the Pulilan community is watching closely, hopeful that MOM’s Ville will soon transform into a vibrant, inclusive neighborhood for thousands of Filipino families.
