The Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) has formalized the registration of Daikyo International Philippine Inc., a Japanese manufacturing company, as a new Domestic Market Enterprise, reinforcing its commitment to business growth and agricultural sustainability.
During a Registration Agreement (RA) signing at the PEZA Head Office on February 20, 2025, PEZA Director General Tereso O. Panga welcomed Daikyo’s investment, emphasizing its role in enhancing agribusiness productivity while promoting environmentally responsible practices.
Operating at Carmelray Industrial Park I-Special Economic Zone (CIP I-SEZ) in Laguna, Daikyo International will specialize in producing adhesive sheets and sticky traps—innovative solutions designed to reduce pesticide use, increase farm profitability, and improve sustainable agricultural practices.
Panga highlighted that PEZA’s policy shift to expand eligible activities enables more domestic market enterprises to benefit from investment incentives, strengthening the country’s agribusiness sector.
Committed to sustainability and regulatory compliance, Daikyo International’s expansion marks a significant step in advancing agricultural innovation, reinforcing the Philippines’ position as a hub for eco-friendly, technology-driven farming solutions.
