SHFC accelerates nationwide 4PH projects

The Social Housing Finance Corporation (SHFC) is expanding its national shelter initiatives, overseeing 81 projects expected to provide permanent housing to about 160,000 homeless beneficiaries under the Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program.

SHFC President and CEO Federico Laxa said the corporation's efforts, under the leadership of Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) Secretary Jose Rizalino Acuzar, reflected their commitment to President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s national shelter agenda. "We aim to uplift communities and improve quality of life through inclusive urban development," he said.

"We are not just building houses—we are building hope, dignity, and opportunity for every Filipino family," Laxa added. "We are making the dream of a decent and secure home a reality for our workers and their families."

As of April, SHFC reported that more than 300 Notices of Award from the Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-IBIG Fund) had been issued to beneficiaries, formalizing the approval of their loan applications for 4PH projects.

Laxa said this milestone "brings families one step closer to realizing their dream of moving into their new homes." He added, "Our team is working tirelessly to deliver more housing projects under the 4PH program, demonstrating our commitment to addressing housing needs efficiently and with high-quality outcomes for the communities we serve."

Across the regions, several 4PH projects are nearing completion, with beneficiary relocation already underway in some areas. The first batch of homeowners has moved into their units at People's Ville in Calinan District, Davao City, and RizalVille in Brgy. Banlic-Uwisan, Calamba City, Laguna, while Crystal Peak Estates in San Fernando City, Pampanga, is now move-in ready.

Construction is also ongoing in multiple areas, including Valley View Township in Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental; Tandikan Ville in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan; Parlas, Golden Sunrise, and South Savannah in Cavite; Tanauan Homes in Batangas; Mom's Ville, ALPAS 2, and Benjamin Village 8 de Muzon in Bulacan; 1Bataan Phase 2 in Bataan; Meriville in Leyte; Riviera Heights in Isabela; and various developments in Laguna, Rizal, and Davao Oriental.

In Metro Manila, SHFC is developing housing communities such as Port Town, San Miguel de Manila Residences, and Sta. Mesa Altura in Manila; Pascualer 7 and 10 in Quezon City; Laon and Balikatan Samahan Mapulang Lupa in Valenzuela City; Makabagong San Juan in San Juan City; San Miguel de Porres-PNR Site in Parañaque City; and Genesis Ville, Hopeville Phase 2, and Alyansa ng Mamamayan ng Caloocan in Caloocan.
