New co-working space opens in Cebu

Creative hub From Here launched co-working spaces in Cebu to help specifically work-from-home workers find suitable working spaces, according to a report by SunStar.

“We want to provide people a space where they can do what they really want to do,” said Jeaun Tolsa, co-working lead and head of Marketing at Crossroads.

From Here opened at the height of the pandemic in November 2020.

During its launching on Friday, March 19, 2022, the hub highlighted its variety of working spaces which it believes will meet the needs of the working individuals in the pandemic.

The co-working space doesn’t only cater to home-based workers, but it also serves as an innovative space that caters to digital creators, startup founders, and anyone who wants to design, build, work, focus, and play.

From Here co-working spaces are ideal for people who wish to explore and learn different skills in different fields.

The hub also offers a variety of “learning programs” where they invite experts to share their expertise.

“The name itself suggests that we don’t want to box ourselves as a workspace. We want everyone to consider this a place where they can be courageous enough to do what they want, start something, meet other people, collaborate, and try something different. We want to provide that type of support,” said Tolsa.

Its premier spaces are equipped with facilities and services suited to the different needs of individuals and groups. These include fast and reliable internet with redundancy, secure co-working environment, al fresco areas, use of meeting rooms, free parking, TV for presentations, 12-hour walk-in access, 24/7 biometric access, projector, screen, and sound system, use of business address, and mail receiving service.

Fees

Its workstations can be rented for P400 a day. Small teams may opt for a co-working setup for P8,500 a month.

The hub also has meeting rooms. Rooms good for four to six persons cost P550 per hour while rooms good for eight to 10 persons cost P750 per hour.

It also has a content studio for photo and video production, which can be used as an event space to perform, teach, inspire,and turn passion into play for P1,500 per hour.

It also has a virtual office for those without a physical space but requires a business address at P1,400 a month.

Non-members can use their spaces from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. while members can make use of all their facilities 24/7.
