Clark International Airport supports direct flights from South Korea

Clark International Airport (CRK) supports direct flights from South Korea, as talks are underway with major airlines Korean Air and Delta Air Lines.

The potential new route comes amid growing travel demand between South Korea and the Philippines. Passenger arrivals from South Korea at Clark have already seen a 2% increase in the first quarter of 2024 compared to the same period last year.

Korean Air has acknowledged the significant congestion at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), prompting them to consider Clark as a potentially more efficient alternative. Clark boasts state-of-the-art airport technology, streamlined immigration and customs processes, comfortable passenger amenities, and easy access via expressways.

Luzon International Premier Airport Development Corp. (LIPAD), the operator of Clark, aims to regain pre-pandemic passenger volume of 4 million annually. Direct flights from major airlines like Korean Air and Delta could significantly elevate Clark's status as a premier travel hub.
