NREA marks 33rd Anniversary with Senator Marcos, Reps. Robes and Magsino

The National Real Estate Association (NREA) is set to celebrate its 33rd founding anniversary on October 23, 2024, at the Marquis Events Place in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. The event, scheduled from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., will feature prominent guests including Senator Imee R. Marcos, Representative Florida L. Robes, and Representative Marissa P. Magsino.

NREA National President Red Rosales announced that the celebration will focus on honoring the significant contributions of NREA members to the real estate industry. According to Rosales, this special occasion will highlight the awarding of prestigious honors, including Leadership Awards, Service Awards, Awards of Recognition, and Achievement Awards, to individuals and entities demonstrating exceptional leadership and commitment to the profession.

NREA Board Chairlady Imelda Magtoto emphasized that the event will also include an Award of Appreciation for industry partners like the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) and the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG). Additionally, a Posthumous Award will be presented to honor the late NREA Founder, Jose “Ka Pepe” V. Manalad, for his invaluable contributions to the organization.

Senator Marcos and Representative Robes, who recently assumed leadership roles as the chairpersons of the Senate Committee on Urban Planning, Housing, and Resettlement, and the House Committee on Housing and Urban Development, respectively, are expected to share insights on their legislative agendas related to urban development and human settlements.

The anniversary celebration follows the successful NREA Mid-Year General Membership Assembly held in August and will cap off the organization’s year-long activities. Upcoming events include NREA's annual elections in November and the traditional Christmas party and gift-giving ceremony in December.
