PHIVIDEC-IA appoints Engr. Chrysler Acebu as new director

The PHIVIDEC Industrial Authority (PHIVIDEC-IA) has announced the appointment of Engr. Chrysler B. Acebu as its newest director. This appointment follows the recent selection of the agency's new Board of Directors by President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.

Engr. Acebu joins the Board as part of a distinguished team that includes Engr. Augustus N. Adis, PME, who assumes the role of Chairman and Director, Atty. Eduardo Q. Almirante, Jr., CPA, and MGen. Wilbur C. Mamawag (Ret.). Each member brings a diverse set of skills and experience to the table, promising to advance PHIVIDEC-IA’s strategic goals and foster development in Northern Mindanao.

As a well-respected figure in the industrial and property sectors, Engr. Acebu brings valuable expertise to his new role. He currently serves as Vice President and General Manager for Mindanao at Pueblo de Oro Development Corporation, a key player in the growth of Cagayan de Oro City. Additionally, his role as Vice President in the Cagayan de Oro Chamber of Commerce and Industry Foundation, Inc. (ORO CHAMBER) highlights his deep engagement with the manufacturing and industry sectors.

The new directors were sworn into office by Court of Appeals Associate Justice John Z. Lee at the Court of Appeals Building in Cagayan de Oro City.

PHIVIDEC-IA, now celebrating its 50th year, manages a 3,000-hectare industrial estate in Tagoloan and Villanueva, Misamis Oriental. The agency remains dedicated to promoting socio-economic development and spreading growth in the countryside, aligning with its ongoing mission to enhance community welfare.
