Shang Properties to build Quezon City's tallest condo building

Property developer Shang Properties Inc. (SPI) is building the Philippines' tallest residential condominium, Shang Summit, in Quezon City's South Triangle. The project is expected to generate P50 billion in sales.

SPI executive vice president for commercial Maria Rochelle Diaz said at the project launch that the two-tower Shang Summit will offer nearly 2,000 residential units, making it the company's largest development.

The first tower will have 1,020 units ranging from studios to penthouses, priced from P10.4 million to P182 million. The second tower will have 900 units.

Diaz said the project has received positive feedback from potential buyers and investors, with inquiries coming in before the official launch.

She noted that Quezon City has a large pool of potential buyers, as SPI's previous projects attracted many customers from the area.

"Compared to what the market has been offering in Quezon City, this is a very competitive project considering it's a luxury development with all the amenities," Diaz said. "We believe this is the right price and offers good value for money."

Units are scheduled for turnover in 2030.

Diaz said the company chose Quezon City for its rapid development and strong demand for residential projects.

Shang Summit is designed by P&T Group, a renowned architectural firm, and FM Architettura, an interior design leader.

The development offers a variety of luxury amenities, including a tropical swimming pool, a state-of-the-art fitness center, wellness facilities, co-working lounges, and extensive play areas for children. The Summit Lounge and Summit Gallery provide elegant spaces for residents to relax and entertain, while The Alcove offers quiet areas for work or study.

Diaz said the company is also looking to acquire more land across the country for future projects.

SPI recently launched its first residential development in Cebu called Shang Bauhinia Residence.
