PHINMA launches township in Bacolod

PHINMA Properties launched its newest township, Saludad, over the weekend. The launch reflects the PHINMA Group's commitment to creating sustainable communities and spurring regional development.

Saludad is a 21-hectare, master-planned, mixed-use development built through a partnership between PHINMA Properties and JEPP Corporation. Design expertise came from Royal Pineda Architecture*Design.

The Oct. 19 launch showcased Negros' heritage, culture and food. Themed "Aton Ini: Experience the Best of Bacolod in One Integrated Township," the event featured performances by the Kabataang Silay Rondalla and a tasting by the Slow Food community. The tasting highlighted Negros Island's artisanal farmers and produce grown using sustainable practices.

An immersive presentation followed, where officials showcased the township's masterplan. The plan reflects Bacolod's evolving needs and honors its culture and natural beauty.

"Saludad's location has a unique charm and potential that we want to share with everyone," said PHINMA Properties President and CEO Raphael B. Felix. "We're integrating the best of the City of Smiles in this township, embracing both heritage and modernity."

The 21-hectare, 12-billion-peso township builds on Bacolod's emerging economic prominence and key infrastructure developments. Saludad will feature a business district with opportunities for local entrepreneurs and professionals. The development will also include essential services from the PHINMA Group, such as accessible, quality education from PHINMA Education and hotel and event spaces from PHINMA Hospitality that showcase the city's warmth and charm.

Saludad reflects the guidance of PHINMA Properties' and PHINMA Corporation's Chairman Emeritus Oscar J. Hilado, a native of Bacolod. PHINMA Properties partnered with JEPP Real Estate Co. of the Jacinto, Echaus, and Puentevella families for the development.

PHINMA Corporation Chairman and CEO Ramon R. del Rosario Jr. congratulated PHINMA Properties for the successful launch. He noted that Saludad is close to Mr. Hilado's heart given his Negrense roots.

"Bacolodnon culture values family and community," del Rosario said. "This township will provide opportunities for residents to improve their lives while finding a community in Saludad. This inspires the PHINMA Group to invest in regional development and impact more lives. By building sustainable communities, we reaffirm our commitment to nation-building."

Saludad's town center will offer a curated selection of dining, shopping, and entertainment options. The township will also feature residential enclaves with residential lots and mid-rise condominiums.

The launch also marked the debut of Likha Estates, a meticulously planned residential community within Saludad. Likha Estates features modern living spaces, upscale amenities, and green spaces.

"At Likha Estates, families in Bacolod can find a home to recharge, unwind, and excel," said Reyes. "The amenities enable a well-rounded lifestyle tailored to residents' needs and desires."
