PEZA celebrates FTech Philippines’ 30th anniversary

The Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) Deputy Director General for Operations, Vivian S. Santos, attended the 30th anniversary of FTech Philippines Manufacturing Inc. (FPMI) on October 5, 2024, at Seda Nuvali, Laguna. During her keynote speech, Santos highlighted FPMI’s significant contributions to the Philippine economy and its leadership in the automotive manufacturing sector.

She praised FPMI for its commitment to innovation, adoption of advanced technologies, and role in setting new industry benchmarks. Santos emphasized that FPMI’s efforts have not only strengthened the local economy by attracting investments but also boosted the country's global competitiveness in the automotive market.

The event was attended by notable figures, including Minister for Economic Affairs Nihei Daisuke, FTech Manufacturing Inc. President Yuichi Fukuda, Chief Advisor Akihide Fukuda, and FPMI President Imelda Dyangko.

Since registering with PEZA in 1994, FPMI has attracted over PHP 400 million in investments, generated more than USD 2.10 billion in exports, and provided employment for over 500 Filipinos at the Laguna Technopark Special Economic Zone.
