PEZA eyes digital transformation through ‘Trabaho Techskwela’

The Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) has entered into a partnership with Concentrix CVG Philippines, Inc. to accelerate digital transformation across its operations and improve ease of doing business within economic zones.

On July 15, 2025, PEZA Director General Tereso O. Panga and Concentrix Vice President and Legal Counsel Michael Dana N. Montero formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the PEZA Head Office in Taguig City.

The partnership will roll out a series of “Trabaho Techskwela” Innovation Discovery Workshops, designed to identify areas for data optimization and process innovation across PEZA services. The workshops will focus on harnessing PEZA’s data assets to produce actionable insights, modernize operations, and improve experiences for investors, ecozone locators, and employees.

Under the agreement, Concentrix will provide technical resources, training, and strategic recommendations to support PEZA’s transition to more agile, data-driven systems.

“This collaboration supports our vision to create a future-ready PEZA that is adaptive to the digital economy,” said Panga. “Through public-private synergy, we aim to enhance operational efficiency and attract more investments to our ecozones.”

The initiative is aligned with the Agency’s goal of building a skilled workforce and fostering innovation across all areas of its service delivery. It also complements broader efforts to streamline business processes and position the Philippines as a globally competitive investment hub.

Concentrix, a global customer experience technology company, operates several delivery sites in the Philippines and has been active in digital capability building across industries.

PEZA officials noted that the initiative will play a vital role in transforming how the agency engages with stakeholders while creating more responsive, efficient, and transparent processes.
