RLC unveils 6-hectare project in Taguig

Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC) has partnered with the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) to develop the mixed-use Bonifacio Capital District in Taguig City, according to a report by Manila Bulletin.

The firm said in a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange, the project will combine residential, commercial, office, hotel, and recreational spaces into one seamless and sustainable community.

"This landmark project is part of the BCDA's initiative to create sustainable communities for businesses, residents and commuters, while also maximizing our assets' economic potential.

“With the help of RLC, we hope to create a model development for areas surrounding subway and railway stations to be developed within the BCDA's economic zones and properties," said BCDA President and CEO Joshua M. Bingcang.

“Robinsons Land is excited to contribute to the growth and development of this vibrant area,” RLC Senior Vice-President and Business Unit General Manager Mybelle V. Aragon-GoBio said.

Rising on a prime 61,761-square meter property in Taguig City, the Bonifacio Capital District will be carefully master-planned to create a vibrant, dynamic, yet environmentally-friendly destination estate.

The entire development will incorporate smart technology and sustainability solutions, including energy-saving features, passive cooling architecture, and state-of-the-art Internet of Things (IoT) technologies.

Utilities, such as power, internet, and communications lines, will be located underground to preserve the aesthetic appeal and functionality of the area.

Located beside the New Senate Building now under construction, Bonifacio Capital District is also positioned near major thoroughfares (Lawton Avenue, Chino Roces Extension, and the South Luzon Expressway), schools, hospitals, and commercial centers.

In addition, the development will be in the immediate of the Lawton station for the Department of Transportation’s Metro Manila Subway Project, making it easier for residents, lessors, and employees to navigate the city and the rest of Metro Manila.

Bordering the northern perimeter of the property will be the planned Bonifacio South Main Boulevard, another major infrastructure project that promises to further improve access to other key areas in Taguig, including Bonifacio Global City.
