Rockwell Land Corp. prepares to launch three projects this year under a plan to diversify its offerings, according to a report by Manila Times.
"With our promise of growing the Rockwell brand, we plan to build more communities this year [and the next] as we are set to launch almost 200 hectares of developments in three different cities," Rockwell Land Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Nestor Padilla said during the firm's stockholders' meeting on Wednesday.
Rockwell Land President and Chief Operating Officer Valerie Soliven said "the company aims to expand its business in key geographical areas while also diversifying its various offerings cutting across all markets in the next few years."
"We are excited to launch 3 new projects in 2023, and we also plan to expand our horizontal offerings by next year as well," she added.
One project, the IPI Center by Rockwell, has already been launched with the others involving a "horizontal neighborhood" in San Jose, Bulacan, and a "horizontal beach project" in Lian, Batangas.
"In the heart of Cebu, we launched IPI Center by Rockwell this year," Padilla said.
"It is a 2.85-hectare mixed-use community and a joint venture with the Wong and Castillo families of International Pharmaceuticals Inc.," he added.
The 100-hectare project in Bulacan, meanwhile, "will be designed to build a hillside escape and wellness retreat for its future residents."
As for the Lian project, Padilla said that Rockwell was hoping to "provide a new and unique living experience for our core market in a leisure environment which is around 2 hours away from Manila."
"It has 700 meters of coastline and clear waters, spread across 2 natural coves."
The first phase covering residential lots is expected to be launched next year.
Rockwell Land's share price fell by 5 centavos to P1.37 on Wednesday.
