AirAsia tapped as Ati-Atihan Fest's partner 

AirAsia Philippines has prepared several activities as the official airline partner of Ati-Atihan Festival in Kalibo, Aklan, according to a report by Philippine News Agency.

Aside from raffle and giveaways, AirAsia will host a free concert at the Magsaysay Park on Jan. 16, starting at 4 p.m.

Concertgoers will be entertained by Spongecola, Kyle Echarri, local artists, as well as AirAsia Allstars (employees).

"We remain committed to our mission of enhancing accessibility and stimulating travel to our key destinations by supporting the rich cultural heritage of the communities we serve. We’re proud to be the official partner of the Ati-Atihan Festival this year, AirAsia Philippines CEO Ricky Isla said in a statement.

The low-cost airline said it is fully prepared to provide seamless travel to Kalibo, enabling travelers to experience the festival. The carrier flies between Manila and Kalibo thrice daily.

Meanwhile, AirAsia has also announced over 500,000 seats available for as low as PHP188, from Jan. 13 to 19, for travel from Feb. 3 to Nov. 30.

The seat sale covers select destinations such as Kalibo, Cebu, Iloilo, Seoul, and Bangkok, it said.
