The Travel Tour Expo 2025 (TTE 2025), known as the “Black Friday” sale of Philippine tourism, officially opened on Friday at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, featuring over 300 exhibitors offering exclusive travel deals.

Organized by the Philippine Travel Agencies Association (PTAA) and now in its 32nd year, the three-day event promises huge discounts on flights, hotels, cruise trips, tour packages, and visa services, attracting thousands of eager travelers looking for budget-friendly travel options.

International travel deals start as low as PHP25,888, including a four-day, three-night package to Hanoi and Sapa, Vietnam, complete with hotel accommodations, roundtrip airfare, and airport transfers.

PTAA President Mariegel Tankiang-Manotok emphasized that all exhibitors were required to offer "very good value-for-money discounts" to participate in the expo. PTAA Public Relations Officer Chal Lontoc-del Rosario also assured attendees of the event's credibility, stating that all exhibitors are PTAA-accredited, guaranteeing safe and legitimate transactions.

Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco, who attended the opening, highlighted the expo’s strong turnout as a testament to the growing enthusiasm for travel among Filipinos.

“This is an encouraging display of how robust the tourism industry is in the Philippines and how excited Filipinos are to travel. The sheer number of participants, exhibitors, and booths reflects the industry’s growth and increasing visitor spending,” Frasco said.

The event is expected to draw over 100,000 visitors, especially as peak tourism season approaches. TTE 2025 is held in partnership with the Department of Tourism, Tourism Board of the Philippines, UnionBank, Philippine Airlines, Qatar Airways, and PLDT.

Entrance fees are PHP100 for general admission and PHP80 for senior citizens and persons with disabilities. UnionBank cardholders enjoy free entry. The expo runs until Sunday, February 11.
