Ayala Land launches luxury residential project in Davao

Ayala Land is expanding its presence in Mindanao with the launch of Virendo, its first luxury residential neighborhood in Davao under Ayala Land Premier.

Located in Toril, about 10 miles from the city center, the development is designed as an exclusive, low-density community within a master-planned, mixed-use estate.

Virendo, derived from the Spanish words for green and gentle, aims to be "an elevated verdant haven framed by Davao’s hills and shorelines," according to the company. The development features 150 residential lots ranging from about 4,800 to 19,400 square feet, set against rolling terrain with natural waterways and views of the Mt. Apo-Talomo range and Davao Gulf.

“With the launch of Virendo, we are introducing a new neighborhood that creates a vibrant community that embodies the heart of Davao,” said Mike Jugo, president of Ayala Land Premier. “The design features expansive green spaces with carefully integrated waterways that flow throughout the development. Positioned between the Davao Gulf to the east and Apo-Talomo mountain range to the west, it offers unparalleled views of the horizon.”

Residents will have access to two amenity centers: the Residents’ Lounge near the main entrance, and the Sports & Leisure Center at the highest point of the neighborhood, featuring a social hall, pool complex and multi-purpose court. BAAD Studios designed the village’s amenities.

The first phase of the 92-acre development is set for turnover by the second quarter of 2029.

“Virendo is an important milestone for the Anflo Group as it not only marks another partnership with Ayala Land but is also located in an area that holds a special place in our hearts,” said Ricardo R. Floirendo, vice chairman of ANFLO Group of Companies.
