Megaworld Corp. is expanding its retail and commercial portfolio by more than 30,000 square meters (sqm) this year, with new malls and projects opening in Metro Manila and Boracay.
In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange, the company said its retail arm, Megaworld Lifestyle Malls, will launch developments at McKinley West in Taguig City, Vion Tower in Makati, Alabang West in Las Piñas, and Boracay Newcoast in Aklan province.
The expansion is part of Megaworld’s plan to achieve one million sqm of gross leasable area (GLA) by 2030.
Among the upcoming projects is The Shoppes at Park McKinley West, a two-story retail hub integrated into the Park McKinley West condominium complex, featuring international brands, first-in-market concepts, and homegrown dining and lifestyle options.
In Makati, a lifestyle mall will open at Vion Tower along EDSA corner Chino Roces Avenue, while Alabang West will host new retail spaces. On Boracay Island, the Newcoast Beachwalk will bring a mix of dining, retail, and service concepts catering to tourists.
“We are growing our leasing business by bringing our signature lifestyle mall concept to more locations while introducing new experiences that resonate with today’s consumers,” said Graham Coates, head of Megaworld Lifestyle Malls.
Megaworld Lifestyle Malls posted %u20B13.33 billion in leasing revenues in the first half of 2025, up 10 percent year-on-year, driven by stronger foot traffic and demand from premium tenants.
Earlier this year, the company also expanded Lucky Chinatown in Binondo, Manila, adding 36,000 sqm of GLA with the opening of its Imperial Wing.
