Sotheby’s International Realty has officially expanded into the Philippines with the launch of Philippines Sotheby’s International Realty, its 18th office in Asia, headquartered in Makati City.
Catherine Ocariz-Florencio, a real estate professional with over 15 years of experience and former president of the Philippine Association of Real Estate Boards (PAREB) - City of Taguig Real Estate Board, will lead the new office.
“The luxury residential real estate sector in the Philippines has seen steady growth fueled by increased demand from affluent buyers and investors,” said Philip White, president and CEO of Sotheby’s International Realty. “Makati, being the country’s financial hub, is an ideal base for high-end residences that offer premium amenities and security.”
Ocariz-Florencio expressed excitement for the opportunities ahead, highlighting the Philippines’ stunning range of luxury properties — from beachfront villas in Palawan and Boracay to exclusive penthouses in Metro Manila.
“Our mission is to set a new benchmark in the Philippine luxury real estate market by providing world-class, client-focused services. Through Sotheby’s International Realty, we will deliver unparalleled value to agents and clients alike,” she said.
Philippines Sotheby’s International Realty listings will be marketed globally through sothebysrealty.com, further supported by referral opportunities and the brand’s association with the historic Sotheby’s auction house.
Sotheby’s International Realty, founded in 1976, now has over 26,100 independent sales associates across 1,100 offices in 84 countries.
