Megaworld launches %u20B13-B The Bellagio Palawan condominium project

Megaworld Corporation, a leader in the development of LIVE-WORK-PLAY townships in the Philippines, has announced the construction of The Bellagio Palawan, its first high-end residential condominium project within the Baytown Palawan township in Puerto Princesa. This development represents a significant investment of %u20B13 billion.

In a filing with the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE), Megaworld revealed that the 12-story Bellagio Palawan will feature 188 "smart home" condominium units equipped with the latest wireless technology, allowing residents to control various functions remotely via a dedicated smartphone app. This innovation will provide convenience in managing lighting and other smart appliances across the living areas, kitchen, dining spaces, and bedrooms.

Each unit will include its own balcony and lanai, with options available in various layouts and sizes, extending up to 109 square meters for three-bedroom suites.

Javier Romeo Abustan, Vice President for Sales and Marketing at Megaworld Palawan, described The Bellagio Palawan as a key component of the Baytown Palawan community. “Once completed, it will embody the vibrant lifestyle that has made Forbes Town in Bonifacio Global City a success. We envision Baytown as the 'new lifestyle capital' of Puerto Princesa City,” he stated.

One of the standout amenities of The Bellagio Palawan will be the city's first heated infinity pool located on the rooftop, offering stunning views of Puerto Princesa Bay. The rooftop area will also include a kiddie pool and a lounge for residents.

On the second floor, residents can enjoy a variety of amenities such as co-working spaces, a function hall, a fitness center with a yoga studio, outdoor lounges, play areas for children, and a daycare center. The building will also feature RFID access in the elevator lobby and complete backup power for common areas.

Each condominium unit will be equipped with a video-phone system linking directly to the front desk and security personnel, enhancing safety and convenience.

The Bellagio Palawan is committed to sustainability, incorporating features like bicycle parking, low-flow water fixtures, occupancy sensors in hallways, and energy-efficient appliances. Additionally, the tower will include its own sewage treatment plant, a rainwater harvesting system, and a materials recovery facility. Completion of The Bellagio Palawan is anticipated by 2030.

Baytown Palawan, which is being developed in collaboration with Suntrust Properties, Inc., is located along the Puerto Princesa South Road. This lifestyle estate will also include additional residential condominiums, hotels, and commercial retail spaces.

In addition to Baytown Palawan, Megaworld is working on the 462-hectare Paragua Coastown ecotourism township in San Vicente, known for having the Philippines' longest coastline.
