Pueblo de Oro building 7 residential towers in Cagayan de Oro 

Pueblo de Oro Development Corporation (PDO), the residential development arm of the ICCP Group, has recently launched a seven-tower mid-rise condominium project in Barangay Carmen, Cagayan de Oro City.

Dubbed Westwoods Storeys, the project is composed of seven towers, with six or seven floors each, spread over 5.2 hectares and surrounded by the Pueblo de Oro protected urban rainforest.

Westwoods Storeys will offer a total of 989 residential units composed of 25-sqm studio-type and 56-sqm two-bedroom models. Introductory prices range from P4 million to P8.9 million.

“Westwoods Storeys will contribute to mitigating the housing backlog, particularly in the City of Cagayan de Oro,” according to Pueblo de Oro management.

With fewer units over a bigger land area, Westwoods Storeys is not as crowded as other condominium projects in the industry. The development was also masterplanned to blend seamlessly with the surrounding rainforest to preserve the environment and allow unit owners to commune with nature.

Westwoods Storeys is also just a few minutes away from the SM City CDO Uptown shopping mall, St. Francis Xavier Parish Church, the Xavier University-Pueblo de Oro Campus, and the soon-to-open ‘The Hub at Bamboo Lane’ commercial center.

The gated community’s amenities include swimming pools, a playground, a multi-sport court, landscaped meditation decks, nature trails under green foliage, rain gardens, natural green canopy, pocket greenscapes, a family picnic area, and a guardhouse with 24/7 security.

The whole Westwoods Storeys development will be built at an estimated cost of P3 billion. The first tower will be ready for turnover in 2026.

Westwoods Storeys is Pueblo de Oro’s follow-up foray into vertical housing developments following the Familia Apartments, a seven-building low-rise condominium cluster, and the Familia Apartments at Bamboo Lane, an apartment-style condominium complex comprising four mid-rise buildings. Both are located within the Pueblo de Oro Township.

Familia Apartments at Bamboo Lane was awarded the Special-Purpose Development of the Year-Philippines in the Development Awards category of the Real Estate Asia (REA) Awards in 2021.
